Highly talented Balmain junior Jared Haywood has been named as part of the prestigious 2024 Australian Schoolboys side, showcasing his exceptional skills on the rugby league field.

Haywood, who hails from the Balmain district, recently represented the NSW Combined Catholic Colleges in the ASSRL U18 Nationals Final, where he played a crucial role coming off the interchange bench in their dominant 40-12 victory over NSW Combined High Schools.

The 18-year-old rising star has been making waves in the Wests Tigers’ Pathways system, having completed a successful SG Ball Cup season with Balmain earlier this year.
