Barça Falters Against Sporting CP in Rollercoaster Roller Hockey Clash
FC Barcelona‘s roller hockey team faced a tough outing against Sporting CP in a high-octane clash that ended with a 4-1 defeat at the hands of the home team. In a game marked by fast-paced action and counterattacks, both sides struggled to establish dominance early on.
Despite several promising opportunities, the blaugranes failed to capitalize as Sporting CP matched them blow for blow. The first breakthrough came just five minutes before halftime, courtesy of a goal from Pau Bargalló, only for Nolito to swiftly equalize for Sporting CP.
The second half saw a resurgence from Sporting CP, with Nolito once again finding the net to put his team in the lead. Barça fought back but were unable to convert their chances as Sporting CP seized control, adding two quick goals through Bessa and Verona to secure a 4-1 victory.
The defeat sets up a crucial return leg at the Palau Blaugrana on April 11th, with qualification for the next round on the line for FC Barcelona’s roller hockey squad.
