Beauceron Joshua Roy To Make Nhl Debut With Montreal Canadiens

This Saturday, Joshua Roy will be playing his first game in the National Hockey League (NHL). The Montreal Canadiens have called up the Beauceron forward to face the Edmonton Oilers at the Centre Bell.

With the Rocket de Laval, the Canadiens’ farm team, Joshua Roy has recorded 12 goals and 18 assists in 34 games. During the morning practice, just a few hours before the game, the native of Saint-Georges was playing alongside Sean Monahan and Joel Armia.

“I’m really excited. It’s something to step onto an NHL ice for a regular season game. I will try to approach it like a normal game,” said Joshua Roy during the press conference.

The game will start at 7:00 PM. The Canadiens will be looking to get back to winning ways after losses to the Philadelphia Flyers and the San Jose Sharks.
