Manuel Pellegrini Starting Lineup

Madrid, Spain — On May 15, 2025, Chilean manager Manuel Pellegrini announced his starting eleven for Real Betis as they take on Rayo Vallecano in Vallecas. Pellegrini opted for a consistent lineup, featuring Brazilian Antony dos Santos, Spaniard Isco Alarcón, and Colombian ‘Cucho’ Hernández in the attack.

The match comes at a crucial time for Betis, who are aiming to close the gap on the fifth place in the league, currently six points ahead. With the Europa League final approaching, Pellegrini has chosen not to rotate his squad, instead sticking with his preferred offensive trio of Antony, Isco, and Hernández, complemented by Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, known as ‘Abde’.

Betis’ starting eleven includes goalkeeper Adrián and defenders Sabaly, Bartra, Natan, and Ricardo Rodríguez. Midfielders Johny and Fornals support the attackers Antony, Isco, Abde, and Cucho.

On the other side, Rayo Vallecano’s coach Íñigo Pérez made three changes from the previous match. Midfielders Pathé Ciss and Pedro Díaz, along with forward Jorge de Frutos, have been brought in to the starting lineup, sending Óscar Valentín, Unai López, and Adrián Embarba to the bench.

Rayo Vallecano will field goalkeeper Batalla and a defense comprising Balliu, Lejeune, Aridane, and Chavarría. In midfield, Pathé Ciss and Pedro Díaz will support attackers Ratiu, De Frutos, and Isi, with Álvaro García leading the frontline.

The match promises to be a competitive encounter as both teams fight for vital points in the league.
