Beyoncé Channels Pamela Anderson in Viral Election Day Music Video to Encourage Voting
Beyoncé has made a significant impact on Election Day with the release of a surprise music video where she channels Pamela Anderson, paying homage to the iconic actress’s looks from ‘Baywatch‘ and other notable roles. The video, set to her song ‘Bodyguard‘ from her 2024 country album ‘Cowboy Carter,’ features Beyoncé in a red one-piece swimsuit reminiscent of Anderson’s character in ‘Baywatch,’ as well as nods to Anderson’s ‘Barb Wire’ character and her 1999 MTV VMAs red carpet look.
In the two-and-a-half-minute clip, Beyoncé cosplays as Anderson before concluding with a simple yet powerful message: “Happy Beylloween,” followed by “Vote.” This video is part of her ongoing efforts to encourage Americans to participate in the voting process.
This move comes on the heels of her recent appearance at a rally in Houston, where she endorsed Kamala Harris for president. At the rally, Beyoncé gave a moving speech, emphasizing her role as a mother who cares deeply about the future of her children and all children. She stressed the importance of voting and the need for collective action to ensure a better world for future generations.
The Harris campaign has also adopted Beyoncé’s song ‘Freedom‘ from her 2016 album ‘Lemonade‘ as its anthem, further highlighting the singer’s involvement in the political landscape.
