Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament Set to Begin in Indianapolis

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference has released the bracket for the 2025 TIAA Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament, scheduled for March 5-9 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Fans can purchase single-session tickets online, ranging from $15 to $40.
All tournament games will feature reserved seating and will be broadcast to a national audience. The opening round will be streamed on Peacock, while the Big Ten Network and FOX Sports app will carry the second round through the semifinals. The championship game will air on CBS at 4:30 p.m. ET on March 9.
USC (26-2, 17-1 Big Ten) is the No. 1 seed after clinching its first-ever Big Ten regular season title with a victory over UCLA, 80-67, in front of a sellout audience. The Trojans have been ranked in the AP Top 10 throughout the season and are pegged as the No. 3 national seed in the NCAA Tournament.
USC is set to face the winner of the No. 8 seed Oregon and No. 9 seed Indiana in the quarterfinals on March 7, while the second-seeded UCLA Bruins (27-2, 16-2 Big Ten) will begin their tournament run that same day at 6:30 p.m. ET against the winner of the No. 10 Nebraska vs. No. 15 Rutgers matchup.
Ohio State (24-5, 13-5 Big Ten), securing the No. 3 seed, will meet Michigan State, Iowa, or Wisconsin in the late quarterfinal game. The Buckeyes previously won the tournament five times and are currently ranked No. 12 nationally.
Maryland (23-6, 13-5 Big Ten) rounds out the top four seeds and is seeking its sixth tournament title after winning its first in 2015. The Terrapins will take on No. 5 seed Michigan, No. 12 Washington, or No. 13 Minnesota in the quarterfinals.
The tournament schedule includes a total of 14 games, with the first round kicking off on March 5. Teams competing for the championship have a chance to secure an NCAA Tournament at-large bid, showcasing the significant stakes throughout the tournament.
