The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced an increase in the number of vacancies for the 70th Integrated Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2024. A total of 70 new vacancies have been added across various state government departments, elevating the total number of available positions to 2,027, up from the earlier count of 1,957. This expansion reflects efforts to accommodate a larger pool of eligible candidates for governmental roles.

In addition to the announcement of increased vacancies, the BPSC has extended the deadline for applications. Candidates now have until November 4, 2024, to submit their applications, a change from the previously established cut-off date of October 18, 2024. The extension is intended to provide applicants with sufficient time to complete the registration process.

Furthermore, applicants will be able to update their One-Time Registration (OTR) details from October 19 to November 4, 2024. It should be noted, however, that modifications are not permitted for certain personal information fields, including the candidate’s name, mother’s name, father’s name, and date of birth. The flexibility to change gender or category is available, albeit for an additional fee.

Aspirants seeking to make changes to their application forms, excluding specific immutable fields, are also encouraged to do so within the stipulated timeframe. The BPSC advises candidates to remain informed by frequently visiting the official website to receive the latest updates on the examination procedure.

The announcement of added vacancies and the extension of the application deadline come in response to the increasing demand for governmental positions in Bihar. It represents the state’s commitment to providing expanded opportunities for employment in the public sector.
