Bill Goldberg And Gunther Wwe Bad Blood

WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg has officially announced that his retirement match will take place in 2025. The news was revealed during his appearance on ESPN‘s “SEC Nation” on Saturday, where he served as the celebrity guest picker.

Goldberg hinted that his final match could be against current World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, following a heated confrontation between the two at the WWE Bad Blood premium live event in Atlanta, Georgia last month. During the event, Gunther made several provocative comments about Goldberg, including a remark about Goldberg’s son Gage, which led to a fiery confrontation that saw Goldberg jump the guard rail and face off against Gunther.

In his announcement, Goldberg thanked WWE executives Nick Khan, Chris Legentil, and Paul Levesque for the opportunity to have a retirement match. He mentioned that he has a couple of months to prepare but did not specify a date or time for the match.

This will be Goldberg’s first match since his loss to Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber 2022 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. His last victory in WWE was against Bobby Lashley in a No Holds Barred Falls Count Anywhere Match at Crown Jewel 2021.

Gunther, the leader of Imperium, has expressed his willingness to teach Goldberg a lesson if they were to face each other in the ring. The tension between the two has sparked significant speculation among fans about the potential match.
