Billy Joel Concert 2025

Billy Joel is set to return to the United Kingdom for two exclusive live performances in 2025. The acclaimed musician will play at Edinburgh‘s Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium on Saturday, June 7, marking his first performance in the Scottish capital in nearly half a century. Later in the month, on Saturday, June 21, Joel will take the stage at Liverpool‘s Anfield Stadium, a city he hasn’t performed in for 45 years. As his sole European appearances slated for 2025, these concerts are expected to draw significant attention from fans across the continent.

General tickets for these much-anticipated shows will become available for purchase starting Friday, October 4, at 10 a.m. Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium, a venue that hosts over 50 major events annually, will serve as one of the key arenas for Joel’s UK performances. The stadium, known for significant events such as international rugby matches and major concerts, reportedly injects substantial economic benefits into the Edinburgh economy, with concerts like Taylor Swift‘s “The Eras Tour” in 2024 contributing an estimated £77 million to the local economy.

Moreover, fans of the legendary rock band Oasis can look forward to their upcoming reunion tour stop at the same venue in the summer of 2025, as announced by Scottish Rugby.

Billy Joel, hailing from New York, remains one of the most iconic musicians of his generation. His career, which boasts 33 Top 40 hits, began with his 1973 song, “Piano Man.” This autobiographical piece was recently honored by being selected for preservation in the Library of Congress‘s National Recording Registry. Joel has received 23 Grammy nominations and is widely recognized for contributions such as “Uptown Girl” and “We Didn’t Start The Fire,” among others.

In addition to his upcoming UK concerts, Joel has announced several performances in the United States in 2025, collaborating with fellow music legends Sting and Stevie Nicks. Tickets for these shows, alongside his UK concerts, are set to go on sale shortly.
