Bjp Surges In Odisha Exit Polls, Bjd And Congress Face Tough Competition

The exit polls for the recently concluded Odisha Assembly elections have shown a surprising surge for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), putting Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik‘s Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and the Congress in a tough competition.

According to the Axis My India exit poll results, the BJP is projected to win between 62 to 80 seats in the 147-seat Odisha Legislative Assembly, potentially challenging the dominance of Naveen Patnaik’s BJD, which is also expected to secure a similar number of seats.

If the exit poll figures hold true, it could mark a significant shift in Odisha’s political landscape, with the possibility of a hung Assembly looming large.

The vote share projections indicate a notable increase for the BJP and a corresponding decrease for both the BJD and the Congress in the state.

In the Lok Sabha exit polls for Odisha, the BJP is forecasted to secure 18-20 seats, while the BJD might only clinch 0-2 seats, reflecting a strong performance by the BJP in the parliamentary elections as well.

Key political figures in the Odisha elections include Pradipta Kumar Naik, Dilip Kumar Ray, Sidhant Mohapatra, Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Pratap Keshari Deo, Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo, Niranjan Pujari, Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Jayanarayan Mishra, Sarada Prashad Nayak, Pratyusha Rajeshwari Singh, Suresh Pujari, Prasanna Acharya, Jagannath Saraka, Ranendra Pratap Swain, Pradip Kumar Amat, Bhaskar Madhei, Mohan Charan Majhi, and Niranjan Patnaik.
