Blackhawks Wild Foligno Face Off Cancer Fundraising

CHICAGO, Illinois — The Chicago Blackhawks are set to host the Minnesota Wild in the inaugural “Foligno Face-Off” at the United Center on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. This special event is part of Hockey Fights Cancer Month, aimed at raising funds for cancer research.

Blackhawks captain and Minnesota Wild forward are collaborating with the V Foundation in this initiative. Fans can donate to either Team Marcus or Team Nick to support the sibling rivalry. Each donor will have a chance to win a signed Hockey Fights Cancer jersey from the brothers, as well as a signed puck from the winning team.

The Blackhawks enter the game with a record of 10 wins, 8 losses, and 4 overtime losses, while the Wild have a record of 12 wins, 7 losses, and 4 overtime losses. The two teams are competing in a tight Central Division, with both looking to secure crucial points as the season progresses.

This matchup features top players, including the Wild’s Kerill Kaprizov and the Blackhawks’ rising star, Connor Bedard. Kaprizov is currently leading his team in points, while Bedard continues to impress in his rookie season.

Moreover, Hockey Fights Cancer initiatives are vital in raising awareness about cancer, with numerous teams across the league participating in similar events. Fans attending the game on Wednesday are encouraged to wear lavender, the designated color for cancer awareness, to show their support.

As the puck drops at 8:30 p.m. ET, the atmosphere is expected to be electric, not just for the game but in support of a noble cause that impacts many lives.
