Boozer Twins Basketball Signing Duke

Durham, N.C. — Duke University has secured its ninth and tenth 5-star commitments with the signing of twin brothers Cameron and Cayden Boozer, who bring a wealth of accolades from their high school basketball career. The Boozer twins, fresh off winning two gold medals for USA Basketball and clinching three consecutive state championships at Christopher Columbus High School, are set to follow in their father’s footsteps at Duke.

Cameron Boozer, the 6-foot-9 forward, achieved MVP honors at the FIBA U17 World Cup, while his brother Cayden emerged as the tournament’s assists leader last summer. The twins, ranked No. 2 and No. 16 respectively by College Sports Network, have big shoes to fill, especially with projected No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg leaving for the NBA soon.

Their father, Carlos Boozer, has played a pivotal role in their basketball journey. As a former Duke standout himself, Boozer led the Blue Devils to an NCAA Championship in 2001 before going on to enjoy an illustrious NBA career, earning two All-Star selections and winning a gold medal with Team USA. Carlos’s journey included stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls, and Los Angeles Lakers, raking in over $140 million from his basketball career.

Despite a life of luxury, including a notable rental deal with musician Prince, Boozer’s net worth is estimated at just over $60 million today. He is determined to set his children up for success, evidenced by their recent commitments to Duke.

As the Boozer twins prepare for their collegiate careers, they enter a historical program with a rich legacy and high expectations. Duke’s fanbase is eager to witness how the boys develop and impact the program under coach Jon Scheyer.
