Liga Mx Bravos Vs Santos 2025 Match

CIUDAD JUÁREZ, Mexico — The Bravos de Juárez will aim to return to winning form Wednesday night as they host Santos Laguna in a crucial Liga MX Clausura 2025 match at the Estadio Olímpico Benito Juárez. The game, set to kick off at 9 p.m. local time, marks the conclusion of Matchday 4 in Mexico’s top-flight football league.

Under the guidance of coach Martín Varini, the Bravos have collected four points from their first three matches, including a 1-1 draw against Mazatlán and a 1-0 victory over Cruz Azul. However, they suffered a setback in their last outing, falling 1-0 to León. Meanwhile, Santos Laguna, led by Fernando Ortiz, remains winless in the tournament, sitting at the bottom of the table with three consecutive losses.

“We know Santos hasn’t started well, but they have quality players who can hurt you at any moment,” said Bravos midfielder José Luis Rodríguez, known as ‘El Puma,’ during a pre-match press conference. “We must remain focused and not underestimate them.”

Rodríguez, who scored the winning goal against Cruz Azul, emphasized the importance of maintaining humility while striving for maximum points. “It’s a short tournament, so we need to accumulate as many points as possible to achieve our goals,” he added.

The two teams last met in October 2024 during the Apertura tournament, with Juárez securing a 2-0 victory thanks to goals from Óscar Estupiñán and Carlos Salcedo. Santos, however, arrives in poor form, having conceded seven goals in three matches, including a 4-1 thrashing by América in their most recent game.

Fans attending the match are advised to arrive early due to limited parking availability, as the stadium’s general parking area is currently being used as a migrant assistance center.
