Bremerton’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade Promises Sunshine and Festivities
The 30th edition of Bremerton’s St. Patrick’s Day parade is set to bring luck with sunny skies and rising temperatures this Saturday afternoon. Participants of the annual event will gather at 2 p.m. on March 16, with a variety of floats, walkers, and bicycles ready to make their way through the vibrant streets of Bremerton.
Spectators are invited to position themselves along Sixth and Pacific to witness the parade as it kicks off down Pacific Avenue. The parade route includes a loop of downtown, with the procession moving along Pacific to Fourth Street, then continuing onto Park Avenue before returning up Fifth Street to Pacific.
Following the parade, an exciting post-event activity awaits all attendees in the form of a kid-friendly coin scavenger hunt. The Downtown Bremerton Association has prepared a special treat by hiding 800 wooden coins throughout downtown and select businesses. Participants can search for these coins between 2 and 4 p.m., with the chance to redeem them for various prizes at local establishments.
