Milwaukee Brewers Vs Chicago White Sox April 2023

CHICAGO — The Milwaukee Brewers will continue their 11-day trip on April 29 when they face the Chicago White Sox at Rate Field in a key matchup. Right-hander Freddy Peralta will be on the mound for the Brewers, holding a record of 2-2 with a 2.43 ERA. The White Sox will counter with left-hander Bryse Wilson, who has yet to notch a win this season, sitting at 0-0 with a 4.30 ERA.

The game is set to start at 6:40 p.m. and fans can catch the action on FanDuel Sports Wisconsin. The Brewers will then play the Sox again on April 30, with Tobias Myers (0-0, 4.50) starting for Milwaukee against Chicago’s Shane Smith (1-1, 2.30).

Milwaukee’s recent success comes off the heels of a 7-1 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals on April 27. In that game, left-hander José Quintana became just the third pitcher in franchise history to win his first four starts, joining legends Tom Candiotti and CC Sabathia. During his five-inning outing, Quintana allowed five hits and struck out six batters while walking three.

The Brewers’ offense exploded, scoring three runs in the first inning and four in the fourth. Notably, every starter recorded at least one hit, with six players driving in runs. Milwaukee had entered the matchup on a four-game losing streak, as they faced tough one-run losses in their previous games.

“It was important for us to break that streak,” Quintana said after the game. “The team played great and we need to keep this energy going.”

Milwaukee’s next game against the White Sox will be vital, as they aim to build momentum following their victory. Fans are excited to see if they can carry this newfound confidence into Chicago.
