Bristol City Women Prepare For Tough Clash Against Leicester City In Barclays Women's Super League

Bristol City Women are gearing up for a challenging clash as they head to face Leicester City in the upcoming Barclays Women's Super League fixture. The team, managed by Lauren Smith, is coming off a solid performance in their last match against Aston Villa, where players like Amalie Thestrup and Carrie Jones showcased their top form with goals.

Established in 2004, Leicester City will host Bristol City at the King Power Stadium in what promises to be an exciting encounter. Under the guidance of manager Willie Kirk, the Leicester side, known as The Foxes, have shown improvement this season and are in a comfortable mid-table position.

Former Bristol City manager Willie Kirk will be plotting against his old team, while Leicester’s squad may feature familiar face Aimee Palmer, last season’s title-winning captain for Bristol City. Leicester has won three, drawn four, and lost six of their thirteen league fixtures so far.

The match is set to take place on Sunday, February 18th at 2pm, with Stacey Pearson leading the officiating team alongside assistants Anastasiya Voloshchuk and Matt Eva. Jon Ashworth-Sears will serve as the fourth official for the game, as reported by journalist Kory Cook.
