Bromley Secures National League Play-Off Place with Draw Against Barnet
Bromley clinched a spot in the National League play-offs after a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Barnet in a crucial promotion-chasing encounter.
The pivotal moment came in the 75th minute when Louis Dennis, brought on as a substitute, found the back of the net to equalize, courtesy of a well-timed assist from Ben Krauhaus, cancelling out Idris Kanu’s opener for Barnet in the 54th minute.
Both teams came close to taking the lead earlier in the match, with Dale Gorman hitting the woodwork for Barnet towards the end of the first half, and Kamarl Grant’s effort striking the post as the score remained deadlocked at 1-1.
With this result, Bromley solidify their position in third place in the National League standings, now trailing Barnet by five points and holding a two-point advantage over fourth-placed Solihull, having played one game less than both rivals.
