Bryce Perkins Named UFL MVP Ahead of Championship Game

ARLINGTON, TEXAS – June 13, 2025 – Michigan Panthers quarterback Bryce Perkins has been named the 2025 UFL Most Valuable Player. Perkins received the honor at a time when his team is preparing for the championship game against the D.C. Defenders on Saturday night.
This selection makes Perkins the second quarterback to be awarded this title, following the Birmingham Stallions‘ Adrian Martinez, who was honored in 2024. In addition to his MVP title, Perkins was earlier named the UFL Offensive Player of the Year.
Perkins was recognized by a panel that included league executives, coaches, players from all eight teams, media, and broadcast partners, who evaluated player performances over the ten-game regular season. Perkins, despite missing three games due to injury, excelled in seven games, earning the UFL’s Pizza Hut Offensive Player of the Week award three times.
In his seven appearances, the Queen Creek, Arizona native completed 69 percent of his passes, amassing 1,342 yards and nine touchdowns, while only throwing two interceptions. He also demonstrated his versatility by rushing for five touchdowns on 269 yards.
Perkins achieved significant milestones this season, finishing fourth in passing yards, tied for second in passing touchdowns, and second in both completion percentage and efficiency rating. His effective playing style drew attention, characterized by exceptional plays, including a game-winning drive in Week Three against the San Antonio Brahmas.
Leading up to the championship, Perkins has sparked excitement among fans with his ability to create dramatic moments on the field, including a memorable no-look pass touchdown and a critical game-winning scramble.
The 2025 UFL Championship Game will take place at 8 p.m. ET on June 14 in St. Louis, where Perkins hopes to lead the Panthers to victory against the D.C. Defenders.
