BTS Member V Mourns the Passing of His Beloved Dog Yeontan

BTS member V, whose real name is Kim Taehyung, has shared the heartbreaking news with fans that his beloved dog, Yeontan, also known as Tannie, has passed away. The news was announced on December 2, 2024, through an emotional note on V’s Instagram Stories.

Yeontan, an 8-year-old Pomeranian, had a special place in the hearts of BTS fans and enjoyed his own fanbase. V expressed his gratitude to the fans for the love they showed Yeontan and shared fond memories of his pet.

In his message, V wrote, “Recently, Yeontan embarked on a long journey to the dog stars. I thought a lot about how to tell you this, but I felt it was right to share this news with ARMY, who have shown so much love for Yeontan.”

Yeontan had been suffering from a heart condition and had undergone multiple surgeries, which were unfortunately unsuccessful. Despite his health issues, Yeontan’s will to live had kept him alive until now.

Along with the emotional note, V shared videos of himself playing with Yeontan, commemorating the happy times they spent together. Fans have been pouring in their condolences and memories of Yeontan, expressing their sorrow over the loss of V’s beloved pet.
