Bundesliga Clubs Interested In Nigerian Striker Gift Orban

Several Bundesliga clubs have expressed their interest in signing Nigerian striker Gift Orban, hoping that he could replicate the success of his compatriot Victor Boniface, who has been a sensation at Bayer Leverkusen this season. Both Orban and Boniface are represented by the same agent, Atta Aneke.

Following his impressive performances for Belgian club Union St.Gilloise, Victor Boniface made a move to the Bundesliga and has taken the league by storm. This paved the way for Gift Orban, who shares a similar career trajectory with Boniface, from Nigeria to Norway and then Belgium.

One of the Bundesliga clubs eager to secure Gift Orban’s services was Eintracht Frankfurt. However, it has been revealed that the 21-year-old striker is on the verge of completing a transfer to Lyon in the French Ligue 1, which effectively ends any interest from the Bundesliga.

Gent and Lyon have reached an agreement over the transfer, with Gift Orban set to sign a contract until 2028 with the French club.
