Parma Vs Cagliari 2024 Football Match

Cagliari managed to lift themselves from the bottom of the Serie A table with a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Parma on Monday. The win marked Cagliari’s first victory of the season, propelling them to 16th place, while Parma remains just above them in 15th place, both with five points from six games.

The Sardinian team, having been winless until this match, displayed determination as they managed to prevail despite Parma equalizing twice during the game. Cagliari opened the scoring in the 34th minute, courtesy of Nadir Zortea, who capitalized on a precise cross from Zito Luvumbo after the Parma defense failed to clear their lines.

Parma responded in the 62nd minute through Romanian player Dennis Man. Man scored after receiving a well-timed pass from Woyo Coulibaly, demonstrating skillful control and composure in front of goal.

As the game progressed, Cagliari regained the lead in the 75th minute. Michel Adopo played a key role in the attack, advancing from midfield and assisting Razvan Marin, who expertly shot into the far corner from the edge of the box.

However, the drama continued as Parma was awarded a penalty in the 87th minute. Brazilian midfielder Hernani successfully converted the spot kick, leveling the scoreline for the second time.

But Cagliari’s resolve did not waver, and just a minute later, Roberto Piccoli scored the decisive goal. His effort ensured the visitors notched their first win of the campaign, much to the relief of their fans.

The match, which took place at Tardini Stadium, highlights Cagliari’s potential as they seek to climb further up the league standings and avoid a relegation battle later in the season.
