Calum Fyfe Extends Lead in Danish Golf Challenge

Calum Fyfe solidified his lead at the Danish Golf Challenge on Saturday, May 24, 2025, carding a four-under-par 68 during the third round at Bogense Golf Club. The Scotsman, now at 17 under par for the tournament, brings a three-stroke advantage into the final round.
Fyfe began the day two shots ahead of Sweden’s Per Längfors but increased his lead with five birdies and just one bogey on moving day. He made gains on the second and ninth holes, then birdied the 11th and 12th to bolster his score.
“Back home I’ve been through a lot, I lost my mum a couple of weeks ago,” Fyfe said. “I feel like she’s helped me out there a couple of times when I hit bad shots.”
Denmark’s Jonathan Gøth-Rasmussen sits in second place after posting a six-under-par 66 on Saturday. Gøth-Rasmussen finished the third round at 14 under par, two shots clear of a group that includes Längfors, Liam Nolan, and Lars van Meijel.
Fyfe reflected on his strategy, stating he knew bogeys could allow competitors to catch up. “My plan was to go for it whilst not taking silly risks,” he added. “I played well, and I would’ve taken it at the start of the day.”
The final round of the Danish Golf Challenge will tee off at 07:45 am on Sunday, May 25, 2025, with Fyfe set to start at 09:45 am in the last group alongside Gøth-Rasmussen and Blomstrand.
