Cam Jordan Wins 2025 Bart Starr Award for Leadership and Community Impact

New Orleans Saints defensive end Cam Jordan has been named the winner of the 2025 Bart Starr Award, recognizing his exceptional character, integrity, and leadership both on and off the field. The award will be presented at the 38th annual Super Bowl Breakfast on Saturday, February 8, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

Jordan, an eight-time Pro Bowler and the Saints’ all-time leader in sacks, has been a cornerstone of the team since being drafted in 2011. Beyond his athletic achievements, he has made significant contributions to the New Orleans community through his foundation, which focuses on youth development, education, and providing resources for underserved children. His efforts include annual turkey giveaways, back-to-school supply donations, and youth sports camps.

“Cam Jordan exemplifies excellence of character and integrity both on and off the football field,” said Corwin Anthony, Executive Director of the Super Bowl Breakfast. “His heart and passion for giving back to the New Orleans community align with the mission and legacy of the late Bart Starr.”

Jordan is the fourth Saints player to win the Bart Starr Award, joining Demario Davis, Drew Brees, and Benjamin Watson. Fellow Saints captain Demario Davis praised Jordan, saying, “Since arriving in New Orleans, Cam has been more than just a teammate – he’s been a brother, a confidant, and a constant source of light. His leadership extends far beyond the field.”

The Super Bowl Breakfast will feature notable NFL figures, including Saints owner Gayle Benson, Pro Football Hall of Famers Tony Dungy and Mike Singletary, and CBS Sports broadcaster James Brown as emcee. The event will also include inspirational messages from former Saints tight end Benjamin Watson and Tulane Football Head Coach Jon Sumrall.
