Nhl Player Suter In Action On The Ice

Vancouver, British Columbia — Vancouver Canucks forward Luke Suter is expected to be in the lineup Wednesday night against the Minnesota Wild, just days before the NHL trade deadline on Friday. According to TSN‘s Farhan Lalji, no trade for Suter is imminent.

The 28-year-old forward has had a respectable season so far, recording 16 goals and 28 points in 59 games. Suter’s contributions have been vital for the Canucks, who currently hold a record of 27-22-11.

This season marks the conclusion of Suter’s two-year, $3.2 million deal, which carries an average annual value (AAV) of $1.6 million. With his contract set to expire, Suter will become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.

In his career spanning five years, Suter has accumulated a total of 73 goals and 71 assists for 144 points in 342 NHL games, all with the Canucks. As the team battles for a chance to compete in the playoffs, currently sitting just two points behind for the final wild card spot in the Western Conference, his presence on the ice will be crucial.

With the trade deadline approaching, Suter’s performance could influence both his future and the Canucks’ playoff aspirations.
