RALEIGH, N.C. — The National Hockey League has announced the schedule for the second round of the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs, where the Carolina Hurricanes will face the Washington Capitals in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The series kicks off with Game 1 on Tuesday, May 6, at 7 p.m. ET at Capital One Arena in Washington.
The Hurricanes, coming off a successful first round, will host Games 3 and 4 on Saturday, May 10, and Monday, May 12, respectively, and a potential Game 6 on Saturday, May 17, at Lenovo Center. This series marks the second postseason meeting between Carolina and Washington, with Carolina previously defeating the Capitals in seven games during the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
