Tax Day Restaurant Promotions

DETROIT, April 15, 2025 — Tax Day is marked by discounted food offers as several restaurant chains provide customers with sweet deals on meals and treats. Whether you have a tax refund or are bracing for payment, April 15 is the perfect time to enjoy delicious discounts.

This year, Burger King is celebrating Tax Day by offering Royal Perks members a 1-cent cheeseburger with any purchase over $1 at participating locations. The deal is available in-store and online but excludes Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories. Customers can access the offer through the BK app or website.

California Pizza Kitchen is rewarding its CPK Rewards members with a $10 discount on orders of $40 or more from April 15 to April 17. This promotion applies to dining in, delivery, or takeout.

For pizza lovers, Casey's is providing its Rewards members a “pizza refund.” Customers who purchase any large pizza will earn a credit for a free large one-topping pizza, which can be redeemed within 21 days or by May 6.

At Fazoli’s, customers can enjoy a buy-one-get-one-free baked spaghetti dish by using promo code “TAX25.” This offer is valid at participating locations on April 15 only.

Meanwhile, Great American Cookies is offering a buy-one-get-one-free deal on chocolate chip cookie cake slices this Tax Day, available at participating stores nationwide.

Donut fans can visit Krispy Kreme, where purchasing a dozen donuts allows customers to snag a second dozen of Original Glazed donuts for only the sales tax. This offer can be redeemed in-store or online using the code “TAXBREAK.”

Olive Garden is resurrecting its popular “buy one, take one” special. Customers purchasing an entree priced at $14.99 or higher can select a second entree to take home at no additional cost, along with unlimited breadsticks and a salad or soup. This promotion runs until May 4.

Additionally, Potbelly is enticing customers with a buy-one-get-one deal on Original sandwiches through the promo code “BOGO.” This offer is available for in-store purchases and online orders made on Tax Day.

Several other venues are joining the Tax Day celebration. For instance, Round Table Pizza will offer a $7 discount on any Large or XL pizza with the code “RTP220” available until April 17.

7-Eleven is granting $10.40 off orders totaling $20 and above through its 7NOW delivery app using promo code “WRITEOFF.”

At Smoothie King, Healthy Rewards members will enjoy discounts of $3 off orders of $15 or $4 off orders of $20 on April 15.

As noted by Potbelly’s Chief Marketing Officer David Daniels, “We can’t make Tax Day disappear, but we can certainly make it more delicious. It’s our way to help fans double up on their favorite sandwiches or try something new.”

For those in Michigan, local restaurants such as Shake Shack, Fazoli’s, and Kona Ice are also providing Tax Day deals, further adding to the celebration.

As we call it a wrap on Tax Day 2025, dining out could provide not only relief from number crunching but also some well-deserved indulgence.
