Celtics Kings Nba Game March 2025

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Boston Celtics clinched their sixth consecutive victory with a 113-95 win against the Sacramento Kings on March 24, 2025, at the Golden 1 Center. The Celtics showcased their dominance with a strong second half that ultimately sealed the game.

With this win, the Celtics improved their season record to 52-19, solidifying their position as one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference. They remain five games behind the Cleveland Cavaliers, who lead the East. Meanwhile, the Kings fell to 35-35, currently sitting ninth in the Western Conference and struggling with a two-game losing streak.

The Celtics started strong, leading 30-29 after the first quarter and extending their advantage to 56-51 at halftime. In the third quarter, they outscored the Kings 32-27, entering the final stanza with a comfortable 88-78 lead. The Celtics maintained their momentum, allowing only 17 points in the fourth quarter.

Boston’s standout player in the game was Jayson Tatum, who recorded 25 points and eight assists, while shooting 5-of-9 from three-point range. Domantas Sabonis of the Kings led his team with 20 points and 10 assists, despite struggling with his shooting.

The game proved vital for bettors as well. The Celtics covered the spread, which required them to win by more than five points. The over/under was set at 224.5, resulting in an under win with a combined score of just 208 points.

Celtics Coach Joe Mazzulla praised his team’s performance, stating, ‘We played together and executed our game plan effectively. Defense was key in the second half.’ Tatum echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing the importance of teamwork. ‘We really focused on our rotations and closing out on their shooters, which made a difference,’ he said.

The Kings will need to bounce back quickly as they look to improve their playoff positioning. Currently, they hold a slim 1.5-game lead over the Phoenix Suns and Dallas Mavericks, putting added pressure on their upcoming games.

The Celtics, continuing their West Coast road trip, are looking forward to maintaining their winning ways as the regular season draws to a close. ‘We’re focused on every game, one at a time. The playoffs are in sight, and we want to be prepared,’ Tatum added.
