Centurion Runner Eddie Mkhabele Finishes Last In Maiden Comrades Marathon With Great Joy

Eddie Mkhabele, a Centurion-based runner, crossed the finish line of his first Comrades Marathon with immense joy as the official last finisher of the race.

The event, known as the Comrades Marathon, took place from Durban to Pietermaritzburg where Mkhabele’s time was recorded at exactly 12 hours.

Mkhabele, competing in the 40-49 age category, secured the 17,297th position out of all finishers.

His elation at completing the grueling race was evident, making him stand out as the final participant to complete the long-distance challenge.

The supportive atmosphere at the finish line was a testament to the spirit of perseverance and camaraderie upheld by all participants of the Comrades Marathon.
