Champions League Matches Delayed One Hour for U.S. Fans

NEW YORK, March 11, 2025 — UEFA Champions League matches this week will start one hour later for U.S. audiences due to the recent shift to daylight saving time, which began on March 9. All second leg matches of the round of 16 will experience this time adjustment, affecting when fans can tune in to watch their favorite teams compete.
America’s adoption of daylight saving time stands in contrast to Europe, which will not observe the time change until March 30. This discrepancy will lead to a delayed kickoff for Champions League games in the U.S., impacting match schedules over the next few weeks. CBS Sports has also adjusted its coverage to align with these changes, beginning broadcasts one hour later.
“For those following the competition in the U.S., it’s crucial to be mindful of the new match times,” said CBS Sports spokesperson Laura Johnson. “We want fans to catch every moment of the action.”
All kickoff times listed are in U.S. Eastern Time:
