Charles Schwab Challenge 2025 Golf Tournament

FORT WORTH, Texas — The 2025 Charles Schwab Challenge continues Saturday, May 24, with the third round at Colonial Country Club. Ben Griffin and Matti Schmid lead the field, both sitting at 11 under par, two shots ahead of John Pak.

This week’s tournament marks an important stage for players aiming to qualify for the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday. Griffin is seeking his second PGA Tour victory, having already won the Zurich Classic this season. Schmid, on the other hand, is looking for his first-ever PGA Tour win.

Notably absent from the contention is World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who is currently one under par, tied for 51st place after two rounds. Despite this, Scheffler’s previous successes, including wins at the PGA Championship and THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson, have made him a crowd favorite.

Fans can watch the third round via Golf Channel, which begins airing at 1 p.m. ET, followed by CBS coverage at 3 p.m. Early streaming options will start at 7:45 a.m. ET on various platforms including ESPN+ and NBCSports.com.

The tee times for featured players are as follows: Ben Griffin, Matti Schmid, and John Pak will start their round at 12:55 p.m. ET. Other notable players, including Jordan Spieth and Hideki Matsuyama, will tee off earlier in the day.

This year’s Charles Schwab Challenge not only offers a prestigious tournament but also features a stunning Stingray Corvette for the winner, adding an extra layer of motivation for competitors.
