Leicester City Vs Chelsea Premier League Match

The Premier League resumes after the final international break of the year, with Chelsea visiting Leicester City in an early kick-off on Saturday, November 23, 2024. This match marks Enzo Maresca‘s return to King Power Stadium, where he previously led Leicester City back to the top flight of English soccer last season.

Chelsea, currently sitting third in the Premier League table, aims to solidify their position as top-four contenders. Despite a challenging start to the season, Chelsea have only lost to Manchester City and Liverpool in the league. A victory against Leicester would be crucial in their bid for a UEFA Champions League spot.

Leicester City, under Steve Cooper, are struggling to distance themselves from the relegation zone, having won just two of their first 11 games since promotion. The Foxes are winless in their last three games, including a 3-0 loss to Manchester United before the international break.

Chelsea’s lineup sees several key changes, with Robert Sánchez in goal, and a defensive lineup featuring Benoit Badiashile, Levi Colwill, and Marc Cucurella. In midfield, Enzo Fernández will captain the team, partnering with Moisés Caicedo. The attack will be led by Nicolas Jackson, supported by Noni Madueke, Cole Palmer, and Joao Felix.

Chelsea will be without captain Reece James due to another hamstring injury, while Romeo Lavia is available as a substitute after recovering from a slight discomfort sustained during international duty with Belgium.

The match is scheduled for a 12:30 PM GMT kick-off at the King Power Stadium and will be broadcast live in the UK on TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports Ultimate.
