Chelsea Green Proposes Dramatic Match Against Nikki Bella for Evolution

Tulsa, Oklahoma — WWE superstar Chelsea Green is aiming for a high-stakes match at the all-women’s Evolution premium live event.

During a recent episode of the Lightweights Podcast with Joe Vulpis, Green expressed her desire for a dramatic “Hair vs. Hair” match against WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella. Green’s pitch comes as Bella returns to WWE programming, reigniting her rivalry with Liv Morgan.

Green described her vision for the July 13 event, saying, “Me vs. Nikki Bella. I would love to do a me versus Nikki Bella Hair vs. Hair Match. One of us gets our head shaved. One of us ends up with a peanut head.” The intensity of such a match would raise the stakes for both competitors.

However, before any potential clash with Bella, Green has another opportunity ahead of her. She will compete in the 2025 Queen of the Ring tournament. The winner of this prestigious tournament earns a championship match at SummerSlam.

Green’s first challenge in the tournament is a Fatal 4-Way qualifying match against Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Candice LeRae. The tournament began on June 9, 2025, and features a new format with four Fatal 4-Way matches in the opening round.

Winners from these matches will advance to the semifinals, culminating at the Night of Champions event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on June 28, 2025. A strong performance in this tournament could place Green back in championship contention, following her recent loss of the WWE Women’s United States Championship.

Green’s 132-day reign as champion ended in April when she lost to Zelina Vega on SmackDown, and she was unable to reclaim her title in a rematch at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Her determination in the Queen of the Ring could make a significant impact on her wrestling career.
