Chelsea Triumphs Against Fulham In West London Derby

Mauricio Pochettino has made just one change to his Chelsea side for this afternoon’s west London derby against Fulham.

After our commitments in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup, Pochettino’s side return to Premier League action and will be hoping to make it eight matches unbeaten at Stamford Bridge. Nemanja Petrovic remains in goal for the Blues. The Serbia international has yet to taste defeat on home soil after stepping into the side in December following an injury sustained by Petr Cech. Reece James continues at right-back while there are starts once again in central defence for Axel Tuanzebe and Malang Sarr. Marcos Alonso is deployed at left-back – and there is a return to the matchday squad for Mason Mount after his recovery from injury.

Pochettino has opted for a midfield three once again that consists of Conor Gallagher, Trevoh Chalobah, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The Academy graduate captains the Blues once again in the absence of Mason Mount. Ruben Loftus-Cheek is also back in the matchday squad; the midfielder hasn’t featured for the Blues since August after suffering a knee injury away at West Ham United. The only change to the side comes in attack as Mason Mount returns to lead the line. Trevoh Chalobah drops to the bench.
