As part of the collaboration, Uppingham Cairo will host the Chelsea International Football Centre, offering top-tier football training and coaching to the community.
The initiative showcases Uppingham Cairo’s commitment to providing a comprehensive educational experience that includes sports and co-curricular activities. The Chelsea International Football Centre at Uppingham Cairo will cater to students, their siblings, and families, giving them access to training under the guidance of Chelsea coaches.
Casper Stylsvig, Chelsea’s chief revenue officer, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting the club’s mission to nurture young talent and instill a love for football. Dr. Tamer Tammam, chairman of New Era Education, also expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, emphasizing the school’s dedication to offering a unique educational experience that prioritizes sports education.
The introduction of the Football Centre at Uppingham Cairo falls under the school’s Extended Hours Programme, which aims to provide a diverse range of sports and co-curricular activities to enrich the overall educational journey.
