Chelsea Women Make Changes For Women's Super League Clash Against Manchester United

Chelsea Women’s manager, Emma Hayes, has made several changes to her team ahead of their Women's Super League clash against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.

Following a mid-season break, Chelsea is looking to maintain their lead in the league table. In goal, we see the introduction of Hannah Hampton, replacing Zecira Mucovic who moves to the substitutes’ bench.

The backline also experiences some changes, although Maren Mjelde and Millie Bright retain their positions. Nathalie Bjorn, who joined Chelsea in January, will make her full debut alongside Jonna Andersson, who recently signed a new contract with the club.

The midfield sees the inclusion of Erin Cuthbert, who will pair with the prolific Melanie Leupolz. On the attacking front, Johanna Rytting-Kaneryd and Guro Reiten maintain their places on the right and left wings respectively. Jessia Fishel will serve as the number ten, with the new signing, Hannah James, leading the frontline.

The Chelsea substitutes’ bench includes Musovic, Carter, Perisset, Mjelde, Cankovic, Nuksen, Ignle, Kirby, and Beever-Jones.
