FC Cincinnati Hosts Sporting Kansas City for Kids’ Day Match

CINCINNATI, Ohio — FC Cincinnati returns to TQL Stadium on Saturday for a 2:30 p.m. ET match against Sporting Kansas City, featuring a special Kids' Day event aimed at celebrating the youngest fans of the Orange and Blue.
Kids’ Day will include activities such as a kid DJ, a kid PA announcer, and a child singing the national anthem. Fans can also write letters to the club’s mascot, Gary the Lion, and enjoy a halftime t-shirt toss featuring shirts designed for kids.
Gates to TQL Stadium will open at 1 p.m. ahead of the kickoff. Attendees can purchase a kids’ combo meal at Queen City Eats, along with discounted youth hats, promoting a family-friendly atmosphere.
As construction begins on a new mixed-use district north of the stadium, fans should note that some roads will have closures. Wade Street is closed, necessitating detours for those using the Workhorse Gate.
FC Cincinnati’s pre-match events kick off at nearby Washington Park starting at 11 a.m., offering free activities, food trucks, and live entertainment before fans march into the stadium.
FC Cincinnati looks to build on its current four-game win streak, aiming for a fifth straight victory against Sporting Kansas City. The away team, currently revamping its roster after a management change, will bring new tactics under interim coach Kerry Zavagnin.
Following a strong performance in their last match against the San Jose Earthquakes, Sporting Kansas City aims for another victory to enhance their season record.
The match can be watched on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV or listened to on local radio stations, including ESPN Kansas City 1510 AM and 94.5 FM.
