Cleveland Guardians Opening Day 2025

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The Cleveland Guardians have announced that their Home Opener against the Chicago White Sox on April 8 is officially sold out. This marks the 32nd consecutive Opening Day sellout at Progressive Field since the venue opened its doors in 1994.

The Guardians shared the news through a press release, celebrating the milestone and the support from their fans. ‘The sellout demonstrates the continued enthusiasm for Guardians baseball among our great fans,’ the team stated.

For those still wishing to join in on the Opening Day festivities, standing room only tickets are available through the team’s Ballpark Pass program. This provides access to every Guardians home game for just $54 per month, including fees, ensuring that fans can still be part of the action.

Prior to the home opener, the Guardians will kick off their season on the road, facing the Kansas City Royals on March 27. Following their away games, Cleveland will host the White Sox for a three-game series from April 8 to 10. After that, the Kansas City Royals will return to Progressive Field for another three-game series from April 11 to 13.

Tickets for the first homestand are still available, giving fans a chance to take in the early-season excitement without needing to be a season ticket holder. The team has launched the 2025 Ballpark Pass, which enables fans to obtain a monthly standing room only ticket for home games.

The Guardians also highlighted the importance of digital tickets, reminding fans that Progressive Field operates as a mobile-entry ballpark. Paper tickets, PDFs, or screenshots will not grant entry. Fans can access their tickets via the MLB Ballpark app, the MyTickets webpage, and approved secondary ticket partners. For those using Apple devices, tickets can also be added to Apple Wallet to expedite entry.

The Guardians are looking forward to an exciting 2025 season, and with fans showing strong support, the atmosphere at Progressive Field is set to be electrifying this spring.
