La Clippers Vs Toronto Raptors Nba Game

TORONTO, Ontario — The Los Angeles Clippers (28-20) will face the Toronto Raptors (15-33) at Scotiabank Arena on Sunday, with tip-off scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET. The Clippers, riding a wave of strong performances, look to extend their dominance over the Raptors, who are struggling to find consistency this season.

The Clippers lead the season series 1-0 after a narrow 105-103 victory in Los Angeles on Nov. 9. They enter Sunday’s game having won four of their last five, including a 112-104 victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Friday. Despite committing 18 turnovers, all five starters scored in double figures, with guard Norman Powell leading the way with 27 points.

Meanwhile, the Raptors saw their five-game win streak snapped Friday in a 122-106 loss to the Chicago Bulls. Toronto, which failed to cover as 4.5-point home favorites, has struggled defensively and offensively, ranking 21st in the NBA with just 111 points per game.

The Clippers, bolstered by the return of a fully healthy roster, have been one of the league’s top defensive teams, allowing just 107 points per game (third-best in the NBA). Stars James Harden and Kawhi Leonard have been instrumental in their recent success, helping the team go 2-1 on their current four-game road trip.

Historically, the Clippers have dominated the Raptors, winning five straight matchups and eight of the last 10. Their average margin of victory in those games is 9.4 points, and they’ve covered the spread in seven of the last 10 meetings.

Betting trends favor the Clippers, who are -5.5-point favorites (-105) as of early Sunday. The Under 220.5 (-110) also appears promising, as it has hit in three of the last four meetings between the teams. Toronto has stayed Under in four straight games and five of its last six.

For the Raptors, Sunday’s game represents a chance to regroup and prove they can compete against one of the league’s elite teams. However, with their recent struggles and the Clippers’ momentum, Toronto faces an uphill battle.
