Los Angeles Clippers Fans At Denver Game

Los Angeles, CA — In a unique move ahead of Game 7, Clippers owner Steve Ballmer has treated 125 season-ticket holders to a special trip to Denver. The fans, led by season-ticket holders David Evans and Paul Boulos, were chosen to invade the Nuggets’ territory.

The trip was announced via email on Friday, as fans received news that they would fly out to Colorado for the decisive playoff game. The email detailed how Ballmer arranged a chartered plane and buses to transport the group to Ball Arena for Saturday’s matchup.

“That’s unheard of, first off, for an owner of an NBA team to even recognize his fans like this,” Evans told The Denver Post before the game. “Second, who do you call to say, ‘I want 125 tickets, a charter plane, and three charter buses to get these people to the arena?’”

Boulos chimed in, remarking on the extraordinary effort by Ballmer, “’Cause ain’t nobody else in the world can do that.”

The scene at Ball Arena was unlike any other, as Clippers fans shouted and waved signs reading “FEAR THE WALL” to counter the home crowd’s support for the Nuggets. A lone Nuggets fan dressed as The Joker tried to intimidate the visiting crowd but was met with loud jeers.

After the Clippers secured a victory against the Nuggets in Los Angeles on Thursday, head coach Adelman encouraged fans to “go to brunch and come” to Game 7, emphasizing the need for energy and support. With Ballmer’s surprise fan initiative, the atmosphere was charged as the Clippers aimed to upset their opponents.

Boulos expressed confidence in the Clippers’ chances, stating, “If the Denver Nuggets thought that they could take the Clippers to their house in enemy territory, and not expect the whole swell, the whole Wall to come crashing down upon them – well, that’s going to be a great surprise for them.”
