Club America Faces Queretaro in Liga MX Femenil Clash
Club America and Queretaro will face off in a Liga MX Femenil match at Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes in Mexico City on Friday, January 10, 2025. The game, scheduled to kick off at 3 pm PT / 6 pm ET, will be broadcast live in the United States through TUDN and available for streaming online.
Club America, the reigning champions, are coming off a 2-1 victory over Cruz Azul in the first round of Torneo Clausura 2025. Queretaro, on the other hand, suffered a heavy 1-7 defeat against Pachuca in their last outing. Historically, Club America has dominated this fixture, winning 10 of the last 11 encounters since 2019.
Scarlett Camberos, who scored both goals in America’s recent win, is expected to lead the attack alongside Brazilian forward Priscila. The defense will be anchored by Nancy Antonio, Karen Luna, Jana Gutierrez, and Kimberly Rodriguez, with Sandra Panos in goal. Queretaro, meanwhile, will be without key players Alondra Camargo, Jazmin Enrigue, and Magaly Cortes, who have recently transferred out.
Queretaro’s new coach, Benjamín Mora, is under pressure to turn around the team’s fortunes after a disappointing Apertura 2024 season, where they finished 17th with only 12 points from 17 matches. Club America, despite fielding a mix of sub-23 and first-team players, remains the favorite to win.
For fans abroad, a VPN may be necessary to stream the match using their usual services. GOAL recommends using a reliable VPN to ensure a secure connection.
