Cody Lindenberg Set for NFL Draft After Stellar College Career

Minneapolis, MN — After a successful college career with the Gophers, linebacker Cody Lindenberg is poised to kick off his NFL journey. He is expected to hear his name called during the fourth to seventh rounds of the NFL Draft this Saturday.
Lindenberg became known for his performance on the field, starting 12 games in 2024 and earning a spot on the first team All-Big Ten list by coaches. His college success set the stage for a promising professional career.
Throughout the offseason, Lindenberg took every opportunity to catch the eye of NFL scouts. He participated in key events such as Senior Bowl week, the Draft Combine, and the Gophers Pro Day in mid-March.
Coping with previous injuries, Lindenberg underwent sports hernia surgery in December. He shared with KSTP that he is feeling great and has shown strong preparation in exercises with trainer Eric Harrison.
This weekend, Lindenberg plans to celebrate the draft with family and friends at a party in downtown Minneapolis, where he hopes to hear the exciting news of his first NFL team.
