Florida Weather April 2025 Forecast

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Spotty showers are moving onshore this morning, primarily affecting areas near and east of Interstate 95.

The forecast for today includes partly cloudy skies with isolated showers expected at times. High temperatures will reach around 78 degrees Fahrenheit, dropping to a low of 58 tonight. Friday shows a similar pattern, with partly cloudy conditions and a possibility of afternoon showers or thunderstorms, with highs around 80.

Moving into the weekend, sunshine is anticipated on Saturday, providing a pleasant day with highs near 74 degrees and lows around 50. Sunday will bring a chilly morning but warm up to a comfortable 76 degrees in the afternoon.

In Fort Wayne, Ind., temperatures started in the upper 30s to low 40s under overcast skies. Highs today are expected to be in the mid-to-upper 40s, with a slight possibility of rain or snowflakes southeast of Fort Wayne throughout the day. On Monday, temperatures will drop further, reaching only the mid-40s, along with a quick round of rain and possible wet snowflakes during the midday hours.

A brief warm-up is projected throughout the week, with temperatures possibly reaching the 50s and 60s by the weekend. Liz Braden, a meteorologist at 21Alive, remarks, “We continue to warm up over the next few days with highs stretching into the 50s and 60s for the weekend.” This shift in weather serves as a reminder that while spring progresses, brief cold snaps can still occur.

In Gainesville, Fla., pleasant weather is expected until a cold front brings a chance of rain on Friday. Today’s forecast highlights sunny conditions with a few afternoon clouds, as temperatures approach 80 degrees. A clear and comfortable night is anticipated, with lows dropping to the mid-50s.

Once the cold front passes, Friday’s forecast includes partly cloudy skies, with showers and potential thunderstorms in the afternoon. This transition will set the stage for a beautiful weekend featuring cool nights and sunny afternoons in the 70s. Meteorologists recommend that residents stay informed via local weather apps for the latest updates.
