Colin Kaepernick Training For Nfl Comeback

NEW YORK — Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is intensifying his training regimen in hopes of returning to the NFL nearly a decade after his last professional game. Kaepernick’s longtime partner, Nessa, confirmed this week that he remains dedicated, despite being a free agent.

Speaking to TMZ Sports, Nessa detailed Kaepernick’s commitment to his workout routine. “All day, every day! Nothing has changed! Nothing!” she said, highlighting his continued efforts to demonstrate he still possesses the skills to lead a team on the field.

Kaepernick, 37, last participated in an NFL workout with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022, but did not earn a contract. Prior to that, he worked out for the Seattle Seahawks in 2020 and organized a high-profile workout session in Atlanta that attracted scouts from seven NFL teams.

Despite the challenges, Kaepernick’s determination remains strong. He had been offered a coaching position with the Los Angeles Chargers last year but declined, preferring to pursue an opportunity as a player.

Once among the league’s top quarterbacks, Kaepernick gained widespread recognition not only for his athletic performance but also for his activism, especially during the national anthem protests that made him a polarizing figure in professional sports. Kaepernick led the 49ers to a Super Bowl in 2013, where they ultimately fell to the Baltimore Ravens.

In his NFL career spanning six seasons, Kaepernick threw for 72 touchdowns, and he now hopes to add to those statistics as he works toward a potential comeback.
