With the upcoming D1Baseball Top 25 rankings set for release on Monday, several teams are anticipated to rise or fall based on their weekend performances.
As teams wrapped up their weekend games, 15 ranked teams had already secured their series victories, while seven ranked teams entered Sunday with a 1-1 record, vying for crucial rubber match wins.
This week’s midweek games set the stage for surprises, with seven ranked teams suffering losses. Notable defeats included No. 24 Coastal Carolina falling 5-4 to No. 4 North Carolina, No. 13 Oklahoma being shut out 11-0 by No. 21 Dallas Baptist, and No. 19 Troy losing 3-1 to No. 23 Alabama.
