Las Vegas, NV – The inaugural College Basketball Crown kicked off on March 31, 2025, featuring 16 men’s college basketball teams competing for the championship in a high-stakes tournament.

The College Basketball Crown showcases squads from major conferences, as well as at-large participants. The tournament schedule spans from March 31 to April 6, with all games held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and T-Mobile Arena.

On March 31, Boise State secured a thrilling victory over Butler with a score of 100-93 in the first quarterfinal match. Boise State’s Tyson Degenhart led his team with 21 points, while Alvaro Cardenas contributed with 19 points.

“This win is a huge boost for us,” Degenhart said post-game. “We came out strong and were determined to show what we can do on this big stage.”

In the semifinals, Boise State awaits the winner of the matchup between Nebraska and Georgetown, scheduled for Thursday. Other games on Day 4 of the tournament include UCF facing Cincinnati and Villanova going head-to-head with USC.

The championship game is set for Sunday at T-Mobile Arena, promising to culminate the week of exciting matchups. Automatic bids for the tournament were awarded to the top two non-NCAA Tournament teams from the Big Ten, Big 12, and Big East conferences.

The tournament will be broadcast live on FOX and FS1, with Vivid Seats serving as the official ticket provider. Fans can take advantage of a 20% discount on tickets purchased through Vivid Seats’ website or app, available until 11:59 PM PT on April 6, 2025.
