Colman Domingo At The 15th Governors Awards

Colman Domingo has been making significant waves in the entertainment industry with his recent appearances and upcoming projects. At the 15th Governors Awards, held on November 17, 2024, in Los Angeles, Domingo delivered the opening monologue and took the opportunity to pitch himself as the next James Bond. Addressing Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award winners Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, Domingo playfully suggested he could be the next to take on the iconic role, sparking interest and amusement among the audience.

In addition to his Bond pitch, Domingo is set to star in Netflix‘s new conspiracy thriller series, “The Madness.” The show follows Domingo as Muncie Daniels, a media pundit who stumbles upon a brutal murder in the woods. What begins as a random encounter quickly escalates into a high-stakes game where Daniels becomes the main suspect, and nothing is as it seems. The series, which promises edge-of-your-seat suspense, is scheduled to release all eight episodes on November 28, 2024.

Domingo is also involved in other notable projects, including the second season of the superhero podcast “Batman Unburied: Fallen City.” Produced by Spotify, Warner Bros, and D.C., this podcast promises an “emotional new discovery” according to Domingo, who is part of the cast. The podcast is set to continue the story of Batman in a unique audio format.
