Concacaf Nations League Semifinals Teams

The stage is set for the Concacaf Nations League semifinals, scheduled to take place in March 2025 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The semifinal matchups have been determined following the conclusion of the quarterfinals.

Canada secured their spot in the semifinals with a convincing 3-0 victory over Suriname on Tuesday night, resulting in a 4-0 aggregate win. Jonathan David opened the scoring with his record 31st goal for Canada, while Jacob Shaffelburg scored twice to seal the win. This marks the second time Canada has reached the Concacaf Nations League final four, having previously fallen in the final of the 2022-23 edition to the United States.

Mexico also advanced to the semifinals after a dramatic comeback against Honduras. Trailing 2-0 from the first leg, Mexico won 4-0 at home, overcoming the deficit with goals from Raúl Jiménez, Henry Martín (who scored twice), and Jorge Sánchez. This victory secured a 4-2 aggregate win for Mexico.

The United States, three-time defending champions of the tournament, easily advanced to the semifinals by defeating Jamaica 4-0. The USMNT will face Panama, who survived against Costa Rica in their quarterfinal matchup.

The semifinal bracket pits Canada against Mexico on March 20, while the United States will face Panama in the earlier match of the doubleheader. The third-place game and the final will take place on March 23.

The upcoming matches promise to be highly competitive, with the USMNT aiming for their fourth consecutive title. The pressure of a trophy on the line will test the readiness of these teams as they prepare for future international competitions.
