Cruel World 2025 Lineup Announced: New Order, Nick Cave, and ‘Til Tuesday Reunion

Cruel World 2025 Festival Lineup

The Cruel World festival, a celebration of post-punk, new wave, and goth music, has unveiled its impressive lineup for the 2025 edition. Scheduled to take place on May 17, 2025, at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, the festival will be headlined by iconic acts New Order and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.

A significant highlight of the festival is the reunion of Aimee Mann’s 80s new wave band ‘Til Tuesday, who will perform their first show in 33 years and their first show with the original lineup in 35 years. Additionally, Ian Astbury and guitarist Billy Duffy of The Cult will revive their earlier band, Death Cult, for a one-off performance.

The diverse lineup also includes other notable acts such as The Go-Go’s, Devo, Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (OMD), Garbage, Madness, She Wants Revenge, Alison Moyet, Buzzcocks, Nation Of Language, Chelsea Wolfe, and Stereo MC’s.

Tickets for the festival, including general admission, GA+, and VIP passes, will go on sale starting Friday, October 25, at 11:00 a.m. PT. Fans who have attended previous Cruel World festivals will have access to a presale beginning Thursday, October 24, at 11:00 a.m. PT. Registration for the presale is currently open.
