Dallas Wings Prepare for Rematch Against Chicago Sky After Recent Loss

Arlington, Texas (May 30, 2025) – The Dallas Wings will face the Chicago Sky again on Saturday after a close 97-92 loss to them on Thursday. The game will take place at College Park Center in Arlington, with tip-off set for 7 p.m. CT. Fans can catch the action locally on KFAA29.
The Wings, currently holding a 1-5 record, are looking to bounce back against the Sky, who are at 1-4. In the previous matchup, Arike Ogunbowale stood out for Dallas, scoring 37 points and matching the season’s single-game high in the WNBA. On the other side, Kamilla Cardoso led Chicago with 23 points and eight rebounds.
Dallas will have to adjust without rookie sensation Paige Bueckers, who has been placed in concussion protocol and will miss at least the next two games. Bueckers has been a key player, ranking second among rookies in scoring with 14.7 points per game and leading in assists at 6.7 per game. Her recent performance included 15 points, five rebounds, and eight assists.
This matchup marks the Wings’ return home after a four-game road trip, during which they played teams including Minnesota and Atlanta. Coach Chris Koclanes hopes to rally his team for their first home win since May 19.
Additional notable storylines include Myisha Hines-Allen reaching career milestones, including her 1,000th rebound earlier in the week. The Wings also recently announced that KFAA29 will be their exclusive local broadcast partner, expanding their game distribution significantly this season.
Fans can follow the game through local TV coverage and on WNBA League Pass for those outside the market. Live statistics will also be available on stats.wnba.com.
