Dani Palmer Wwe Release Announcement

ORLANDO, Fla. — Dani Palmer, an NXT talent, has been officially released by WWE, marking the end of her three-year tenure with the company. The announcement came on May 2, 2025, when Palmer took to social media to share her feelings about the transition.

In her post, Palmer expressed gratitude to WWE, stating, “Thank you WWE for bringing me to the love of my life. The past 3 years have been amazing! It’s a bittersweet feeling to be officially closing out my athletic career, but I can truly say I went till the wheels fell off…literally lol. Our bodies are a gift and mine has been so kind to me. I look forward to this next chapter!” She also mentioned her excitement about returning to her business ventures.

Palmer, whose real name is AJ Amrhein, primarily appeared on NXT Level Up since signing with WWE in 2022. Throughout her time with the promotion, she faced multiple injury challenges. Most recently, she competed on EVOLVE, but suffered another injury earlier this year.

She is among a growing list of WWE releases, which has included notable names such as Dakota Kai, Braun Strowman, and Shayna Baszler. Palmer’s release has drawn attention alongside the departures of fellow NXT talents like Gigi Dolin and Riley Osborne.

Palmer last appeared on WWE programming on February 21 of this year. Reports indicate that Palmer and her counterparts will undergo a 30-day non-compete period, following standard protocol for released NXT wrestlers.

As she moves to her next chapter, Palmer thanked her supporters and looked forward to future opportunities.
